Nutrition strategies to fight thrombosis

Health

The formation of a blood clot in the body, known as thrombosis, is a major threat and can lead to life-threatening complications. But that's no reason to panic, nor does it necessarily mean we need to overmedicate ourselves. But let's start at the beginning

What is thrombosis and how can it be prevented naturally?

Several factors – such as an accident, surgery or a sedentary lifestyle – can combine to cause a blood clot to form in a vein in the body, sometimes with dramatic consequences. They can even cause an immediate pulmonary embolism, which can be life-threatening.

All this is well known, but it is less often discussed that starting from these actual problems one can easily go overboard.

How so? Well, nowadays, everyone is scared of thrombosis and, in order to prevent it, blood thinners are sometimes even unnecessarily recommended.

However, this is not always the best solution, as we can do a lot to prevent thrombosis through our diet and lifestyle.

In this context, it is worth taking into account the report from paramedics, according to whom, in accidents (from simple falls to serious car crashes) it can be a huge problem if they are unable to stop the bleeding because the pacient is taking blood thinners. Many people die because they simply bleed to death, even though the injury is not serious enough to warrant such a fate.

So what can we do to prevent thrombosis – by purely natural means?

Once we have taken account of the obvious lifestyle risk factors, it is also important to change our diet to include substances that protect the heart and blood vessels.
InnoFit products are particularly rich in these!

Iron deficiency and the risk of thrombosis

Several studies have found a link between low blood iron levels and the risk of developing blood clots. Iron deficiency should therefore be avoided also in order to prevent dangerous blood clots. Low iron levels may indicate a lack of (iron-rich) fruit in your diet, or a digestive problem, i.e. an inability to digest and absorb iron from the food you eat, which may be a factor in the development of thrombosis.

In my experience, however, it is not only iron that is lacking, but also other substances, which can lead to blood clots.

It is important to note that, interestingly, the iron value is more of an indicator and not necessarily the cause. Therefore, if you try to solve your iron deficiency with pills, you may think that you have done everything you can to avoid a thrombosis, but you have not completely escaped the danger that is lurking. Blood-thinning flavonoids are just as important as iron for the body to function properly. So get them into your body, simply and naturally, by consuming InnoFit products!

Complex protection from nature

In contrast to the seemingly reassuring, but often downright risky and side-effect-inducing medications, InnoFit products have the great advantage of containing a myriad of life-saving active ingredients in just a single natural plant. For example, Purfit is excellent for keeping blood density at the right level, thanks to the iron content of blackcurrant and also because it is packed with naturally 'blood-thinning' flavonoids.

By the way, blood cells can clump together and thus increase the risk of thrombosis if your blood is not properly mineralised. The great thing about InnoFit products, however, is that they contain everything you need in a complex, natural form: iron, flavonoids and even minerals!

Did you know? You can also put yourself at serious risk if you don't watch your water intake every day. This is especially important for people who tend to sweat profusely. They need to pay serious attention to drinking water (but, mind you, not soft drinks, just pure and simple water!) regularly and in sufficient quantities when playing sports, dancing, visiting the sauna or during the hot summer days, as neglecting to do so can be a serious risk: it can cause blood to thicken and significantly increase the risk of thrombosis.

Do something for yourself – starting today!
Drink plenty of water and eat delicious natural berries, or if you can't get them all year round, then use InnoFit products!
