Vitamin and food supplement tablets are the industry's answer to the vitamin needs of a fast-paced civilised lifestyle. They can superficially seem to be a really simple and quick way to replace the active ingredients missing from the diet as an alternative to eating fruit and vegetables.
But can a balanced diet really be replaced by synthetic supplements?
Is it really true that if 1 active ingredient of a plant is synthetically produced and consumed, once in the body it is equivalent to the same ingredient in the plant? And can have the supplement have the same effect as the complex compound in the plant?
These are questions that we do not really get answers to when we see advertisements for one company or another on TV, in newspapers or on the internet. But in order for two products to be truly comparable, we need to have answers to these questions.
The plant contains a complex formula of vitamins, minerals and trace elements that are essential for the human body and that require the combined presence of several active ingredients to be absorbed. By contrast, even vitamin preparations that appear to be complex contain orders of magnitude fewer valuable active substances than can be found in the plant.
InnoFit products, on the other hand, contain a conscious combination of several plants that not only complement each other's effects, but also enhance them. So you can't expect a single pill to be able to trigger the complex immune processes and regenerative effects in your body that a properly selected plate of fruit and vegetables can. And then we haven't mentioned the differences in absorption that also exist between natural and synthetic vitamins.
By the way, did you know that vegetables and fruits also contain seemingly "useless" substances to prevent overconsumption?
It is a strange, newly discovered fact that plants also have compounds that, if consumed in excess, can cause us to feel disgust or even allergies, which is subjectively unpleasant, but protects our health, so that we do not eat more than we should. If eaten in excess, we can come to hate some plants or foodstuffs for life.
A scary fact
These seemingly superfluous substances are not found in synthetic vitamin supplements, which is why overdosing on them can cause serious damage to your health.
This frightening fact was revealed in a lung cancer prevention trial among American smokers.
The clinic that conducted the trial aimed to reduce the risk of lung cancer in smokers by giving them high doses of synthetic carotenoid tablets. Since several studies had shown the anti-tumour effects of carrots, it seemed reasonable to assume that if smokers took carotene tablets, they could be prevented from developing lung cancer.
However, the trial had to be stopped because, unfortunately, the opposite was found to be true: the overdose of vitamin A increased the incidence of lung cancer by 28% in smokers in the trial compared with those taking a placebo, or no pill.

So not only is there no substitute for a healthy diet with artificially produced supplements, but they can even be harmful to your body if taken in excess.
What else is in supplements?
When you read the ingredients on the labels of vitamin tablets, you can be surprised to find out what is in them besides what you expected: sweeteners, colourants, artificial flavours, talc, acidity regulators, microcrystalline cellulose, bulking agents, and so on...
Moreover, what's in big letters on the front of the box is very often at the very end of the ingredients list in small letters.
In a one-gram vitamin tablet (the example shows the ingredients of a children's vitamin), you will find the following proportions:
- 70% sweetener
- bulking agent
- artificial flavours, natural colourants
- anti-caking agents
- 3% vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, niacinamide, calcium d-pantothenate, beta carotene, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin B1, copper, folic acid, biotin
So here, the one-gram tablet contains only 0.03 grams of an active ingredient that is actually useful.
Even if the price of such a product seems quite reasonable, don't be fooled! If we compare the price of the one-gram vitamin tablet, which in this example contains only 3% of beneficial substances, and they are not even natural ingredients, we are much better off buying InnoFit products, which contain 100% concentrated herbs without any additives.
And we haven't even mentioned that, due to the lack of complexity in synthetic vitamin tablets, only 5-15% of the 3% vitamin content is actually absorbed and utilized by the body, according to researches.
In my opinion, even after this quick comparison, it is clear that the best thing we can do is to try to replace the vitamins, minerals, trace elements and other beneficial bioactive substances that are missing from our diet in the most natural way possible. Today, InnoFit products are a simple, time- and cost-effective way to do this.
If we prevent civilisation deficiency diseases, we can save ourselves and our family members a lot of physical and mental pain later on.
This goal is important enough to take conscious action as soon as possible!
